∎ As partnership with Concern Worldwide, ESDO is implementing the Integrated Nutrition Project in Coxsbazar District. ESDO is inviting applications from interested qualified candidates for the position. Only ready to join applicants are invited to apply.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Counsellor-OTP/TSFP will be responsible for supporting an array of counselling to all the admitted children and PLWs at OTP and TSFP. In addition to this she will be responsible to support IYCF related activities at the nutrition site and or within the community working closely with community volunteers and lead mothers of mother care groups. At the nutrition site, the counsellor will support one on one individual counselling as well as group messaging around nutrition & health status of beneficiaries, IYCF and other relevant nutrition topics. At the community level the counsellor will support IYCF related activities with the mother care groups in close liaison with the Site Supervisor, the outreach supervisor, volunteers and the lead mothers. She will be responsible to perform other activities requested by her supervisor based on project need.
∎ Main duties & responsibilities:
∎ Ensure that the SAM and MAM counselling, IYCF-E counselling and messaging across different avenues i.e. IYCF Corner, mother care groups, adolescent girls, men and other key influencers are delivered as prescribed in the project design.
∎ Undertake periodic trainings to community nutrition volunteers and lead mothers of mother care groups on health & nutrition, infant and young child feeding ensuring that they are equipped with the relevant messages and supported to deliver the same at the community level.
∎ Support lead mother of mother care groups and community volunteers organize monthly meetings within their assigned groups.
∎ Ensure that activities prescribed in the project design including the mother care-group meetings, sensitization sessions, trainings etc. are undertaken as detailed in the activity plan.
∎ Track progress of key activities updating the supervisor on status of each activities against the project target and highlighting any challenges faced along the implementation phase.
∎ Participate in MIYCN promotion activities within the camps including the community mobilization meetings in liaison with other Nutrition projects staff in the Camps.
∎ Support to generate weekly, monthly and other relevant reports as detailed and keeping proper records of project activities at the field level.
∎ Be aware of, understand and comply with all of Concern’s policies and procedures (P4, finance, logistics, HR, security management etc.)
∎ Undertake other related duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Project Coordinator or line manager.
∎ Accountability
∎ In line with commitments under the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS):
∎ Actively promote meaningful community participation and consultation at all stages of the project cycle (planning, implementation, M&E);
∎ Work with relevant colleagues to ensure that the Complaints and Response Mechanism (CRM) is functional and accessible, that feedback and complaints are welcomed and addressed;
∎ Work with relevant colleagues to ensure that information about CRM, safeguarding and expected staff behavior is disseminated among programme participants and communities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Around 1-2 years’ progressive experience in a similar/related activities. (For highly technical candidates, experience is considerable).
∎ Technical knowledge on Community management of acute malnutrition (CMAM), C-MAMI and IYCF/E programming.
∎ Familiar with SBCC activities.
∎ Experience with Counselling and nutrition promotion.
∎ Having good knowledge on Rohingya refugee programmes will add value.
∎ Demonstrate ability to think and manage strategically, plan and meet deadlines.
∎ Only Female candidates are eligible as they will provide one to one counselling on breastfeeding to mothers.
∎ Good command and Fluency in Bengali and Rohingya language/Chittagong dialect (will add value).
∎ Pro- active with an ability to think analytically, identifying opportunities and mechanisms to broaden programming.
∎ Results oriented.
∎ Excellent planning and organisational skills.
∎ Ability to problem solve and good decision making and communication skills.
∎ Strong team player.
∎ Ability to work in challenging environments.
∎ Good knowledge on Communication and Counseling.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 49000 (Monthly)
∎ As per final budget the salary could be changed

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Two festival bonuses @ 50% of one month gross salary per year & Boishakhi Allowance @10% of gross salary.
