Job Context:

∎ The role of Counselor within the project is one of a key staff and influencer. As a member of the team, the Counsellor is also required to contribute to the effective delivery of project targets and objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide ongoing, one-on-one general counselling to the identified Victims of Trafficking (VoT) as soon as required
∎ Provide intensive counseling to family of the victims of trafficking
∎ Recognize and community with survivors of Victims of Trafficking (VoT) at the Rohingya camps and host communities in the intervention areas.
∎ Response immediately to need of any survivors of VoT in the intervention areas.
∎ Rescue women and children from harmful situation both at family and community
∎ Assist survivors to integrate in their family, extended family or in community
∎ Assist the Legal cum Case Management Coordinator in services and documentation for the survivors of trafficked victims
∎ Maintain communication with local government, police station and BNWLA's members of Protect Group in the community
∎ Develop and maintain network for referral services with appropriate service providers and organizations.
∎ Assist in providing medical support to the victimized women and children
∎ Conduct any other activities required by the project management.
∎ Prepare monthly and quarterly work plans.
∎ Prepare and submit periodic progress report (monthly and quarterly).
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Have skills in communication and networking, investigation
∎ Have experiences of maintaining liaison with different stakeholders of GO, NGOs and other relevant agencies
∎ Have computer literacy on MS office, excel etc.
∎ About thirty years' of working experiences in Repatriation of Victims of Trafficking from different regions in country and other countries.
Salary: Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
