Job Context:
∎ Reports to: Programs and Impact, Direct Supervisor: TBD
∎ Classification: 12 months full-time position based at DGFP

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Work Plans and Execution: Supports the execution of DGFP's RMG related activities and recommend revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Enforces desired standards. Ensures all project documentation is complete, current and stored appropriately.
∎ Coordination and Partner Management: Coordinates and communicates regularly with FSD of DGFP, BGMEA, BKMEA, supply chain of DGFP, development partners, and any other relevant stakeholders to identify what is working, and activities those can be considered and incorporated into work plans.
∎ Monitoring and Evaluation: Coordinates with BGMEA, BKMEA and RMG factory-based clinics for completion of training, commodity supplies, reporting, record keeping, availability of FP commodities, availability of health service providers, functionality of health service clinics. Collects/records service delivery indicators and other indicators to track if services are being provided, or FP commodities are distributed. Collects information from service providers, beneficiaries, RMG factory administrators for better operation of ongoing activities. Identifies program implementation challenges and bottlenecks and possible ways of addressing those. Documenting new learnings, success stories, changes etc and to report DGFP.
∎ Communicates difficult/sensitive information in accurate and timely fashion.
∎ Project Meetings: Attends regular meetings, as well as any other need-based meetings. Presenting ongoing activities, and performance to various forums upon necessity.
∎ Compliance: Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and procedures of DGFP.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 8 years' experience in working, preferably in RMG sector, public health, coordinating between stakeholders.
∎ Experience working with garment workers, and/or urban population
∎ Prefer: Experience working with public health, specially with DGFP
∎ Prefer: Experience working with BGMEA and/or BKMEA
∎ Prefer: Understanding of program context, field realities, and technical need
∎ Prefer: Experience using basic quantitative and qualitative research techniques
∎ Prefer: Experience working with development partner
∎ RMG Sector: Have knowledge and understanding on RMG sector in Bangladesh, having understanding on BGMEA and BKMEA, operations of garment factories, development partners those are collaborating working with RMG sector.
∎ Public Health System: Basic understanding of the countries' public health systems, and urban health services, including DGFP's service delivery network.
∎ Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights: Basic knowledge of contraception and reproductive health principles and rights, practices and services, including program strategies and indicators, and the latest developments in the field.
∎ Program Operations and Development: Basic skills in implementing and managing health program.
∎ Monitoring and Evaluation: Basic knowledge of and experience in data collection, research, monitoring, and evaluation.
∎ Program and Project Planning and Management: Basic skills in program and project management and planning to fulfill performance objectives, including the timely implementation and reporting of activities.
∎ Change Leadership: Ability to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility in managing change across a broad group of stakeholders in an inclusive manner. Must bring a problem-solving mindset to the project team.
∎ Community Relations: Basic skills in facilitating working relationships between government officials, RMG authorities, service providers and communities.
∎ Software Applications: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
∎ Languages: Writing and speaking skills both in Bengali and English.
∎ Passion for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights: Commitment to contraception, reproductive health services and rights, gender equality, maternal, and child health services.
∎ Self-Management and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as a member of the team.
∎ Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality on work related matters.
∎ Facilitation skills: Should have good facilitation skills related to trainings, workshops/ seminars.
∎ Report writing: Should be able to write reports, briefs and concept notes.
∎ Extensive Travel required (more than 50%), must be willing to travel in public transport
∎ Uses cellular and desk phone; laptop or desktop computer
∎ This position will be stationed within DGFP of MOH&FW
