Job Context:
∎ The overall purpose of this position is to contribute to a high quality, succinct communications portfolio that includes reporting, documentation, research, videos, photos, success stories, impact statements and blogs. The position requires a high-energy, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic individual with exceptional organizational, written, and oral communication skills, and strategic thinking, and emotional intelligence. Specific purposes are:
∎ Coordinate and provide quality oversight to all donor, Government and internal reporting and documentation.
∎ Coordinate roll out of communications plan including development and quality oversight to various communications products and platforms (including but not limited to social media, webpages, media)
∎ Coordinate and support the execution of all internal evaluation, research and studies including inter team collaboration, quality control and dissemination.
∎ Ensure high quality benchmarks and accuracy of all NJP reporting, documentation and communications.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Reporting and Documentation:
∎ Independently and or collaboratively prepare, review and edit donor, Government and internal weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual progress and pipeline resource reports, government reports, with guidance from the Manager Knowledge Management, Communications and Advocacy.
∎ Ensure timely and quality reporting submission, and revisions based on feedback to WVUS PMO.
∎ Ensure reporting and documentation is donor compliant (including 508 compliance and updated donor guidance on reporting).
∎ Accurately record and disseminate the minutes of internal/external meetings, as required and using previous examples as benchmarks.
∎ Update the event calendar in coordination with key staff members.
∎ Communications:
∎ Lead the design, implementation and socialization of a robust communications strategy including design, finalization and socialization of communications products including videos, photos, info graphics, success stories, case studies and factsheets.
∎ The Coordinator will serve as one of the lead writers (in English and Bangla) on communications deliverables and learning/research products including studies, assessments, research briefs and presentations.
∎ Support the execution of advocacy initiatives including but not limited to events, policy briefs, presentations, talking points, briefing notes.
∎ Graphics Design:
∎ Support to conceptualize, design and create different types of products including but not limited to factsheets, case studies, e newsletters, briefs using software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash and CSS.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Technical Writing skills, Presentation skills, competent in use of MS Office with at least 5 years relevant experience with Good communication skills.
∎ Must be willing and able to travel nationally up to 16 weeks per annum.
∎ 5 Years’ Experience
∎ Demonstrated/ Proven experience in working with inter-departmental, cross –organizational and cross-cultural teams
∎ Experience working with USAID funded project departmental , cross –organizational and cross-cultural teams
∎ Must be willing and able to travel frequently to project field locations.
Salary: Tk. 80000 - 90000 (Monthly)
