∎ Oversee and guide the functioning of the DGDA's Safety Surveillance Cell for COVID 19 vaccines as secretarial assistance to the National AEFI Advisory Committee of DGDA.
∎ Provide support to the functioning of the National AEFI Advisory Committee for COVID-19 vaccines for generating regulatory recommendations, making decisions through analyzing perspectives for safer vaccination.
∎ Coordinate with the relevant experts for strengthening MTaPS-supported electronic AEFI reporting and data management system for pharmacovigilance of COVID-19 vaccines.
∎ Provide technical inputs to the stakes and work with the team in the development/adaptation and dissemination of guiding messages (video/leaflet) for creating AEFI reporting culture to provide safeguard to COVID-19 vaccination.
∎ Establish strong and effective coordination and communication among the key actors/stakes of COVID-19 vaccination to help increase the number of and quality AEFI reporting and to secure overall safety of the vaccination.
∎ Improve the visibility of USAID MTaPS
∎ Provide support and oversight to the consultant working in strengthening the COVID-19 supply chain functions at the Central Medical Stores Depot (CMSD).
∎ Provide technical oversight to adapt/update/finalize of training module, curriculum, training materials on COVID-19 eLMIS and COVID commodities reporting systems
∎ Technical inputs in facilitating training for CMSD staff on emergency procurement.
∎ Provide coordination support to consultant for C19RM fast track procurement process.
∎ Prepare quick notes, and updates to share with the MTaPS team and USAID as and when needed.
∎ Coordinate with different departments of DGHS, DGDA and other key stakeholders to ensure that the activities under ARPA are completed effectively, results are produced in time and the deliverables are of high quality.
∎ Participate in the periodic team meeting with HQ on the ARPA fund activities.
∎ Required: 10+ years of experience in public health and working experience in different NGOs, INGOs, and development partners
∎ Experience with public health programs in developing country context supported by bilateral agencies such as USAID, WHO and World Bank preferred.
∎ Experience in MOH&FW and directorates preferred
