• Bachelor/Honors

• Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Journalism
• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Marketing

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or any relevant discipline.

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.

• Ability to write in different tones and styles for various platforms and audiences.

• Bonus: Familiarity with AI editing tools (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT, Jasper)

• Creativity, attention to detail, and strong research skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently or within a team.

• Curious, self-managed, and passionate about culture, travel, and storytelling

We’re looking for someone fluent in both Bengali and English—capable of drafting vivid articles, conducting interviews, and shaping tour experiences that resonate with diaspora readers and global audiences alike for lifestyle and travel magazine.

Responsibilities:

Article & Itinerary Development

• Research and write lifestyle features, travel stories, and curated tour guides

• Create engaging cultural content around food, fashion, heritage, and everyday life

• Draft itineraries and location-based pieces for domestic and international travel

Interviews & Storytelling

• Conduct interviews with artists, cultural figures, entrepreneurs, and travelers

• Write compelling profiles and human-interest stories in English and Bengali

• Translate or adapt interviews to ensure authenticity across languages

Editorial Collaboration

• Edit and proofread articles (your own and possibly others’) for clarity and accuracy

• Humanize AI-generated content where applicable, ensuring nuance and depth

Cultural Research & Trend Spotting

• Explore evolving lifestyle trends within Bengali and other communities

• Pitch new story ideas based on cultural events, seasons, or reader interests

• Use data and interviews to inform fresh perspectives and storytelling angles
