• Candidates are required to have a Diploma / MS/ FCPS+ 18 Month long term Fellowship in Retina. from recognized institution in Bangladesh.
• The candidate must have active BMDC Registration.

• At least 2 years

• 02 years or more experience in relevant field will be given preference.

Al Basar International Foundation- a Non-Profit Organization- runs several reputed eye hospitals Many district in Bangladesh including Al Noor Eye Hospital, Lalmatia,, Makkah Eye Hospital, Uttara, Makkah Eye Hospital,Kakrail Dhaka , Several more eye hospital will be established soon to expand eye care services to the underprivileged and remote area population of Bangladesh.

Al Basar International Foundation has been contributing in controlling blindness and combating the key causes of visual impairment in Bangladesh for about three decades through providing hospital based eye treatment, arranging free eye camps, educating local community members, developing high quality eye care workforce, and conducting population based eye care research.  

Al Basar International Foundation) is seeking qualified and motivated specialist Doctor for the positions of Consultant /Surgeon in Retina department.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care
• Work with a multidisciplinary team, including other doctors and professional staff
• Conduct routine eye examinations
• Participate in eye camp for screening cataract and other eye diseases
• Stay up to date with eye care diagnosis and treatment of eye disorders
• Develop or implement plans and procedures for providing ophthalmological services
• Supervise Ophthalmic Health Assistants, Refractionists, OT Assistants and other relevant staff members
• Any other tasks as and when assigned by the Management.
