Job Context:
∎ Light House is national level organization working in 46 districts to serves the socially and economically less privileged people in Bangladesh, who are deprived of quality health care facilities in teams of both general and reproductive health, nutrition and income generating opportunities, and equitable access to justice; and are vulnerable to climate change effects.
∎ Light House has been contracted with UNFPA for providing support to AIDS STD Programme, DGHS to strengthen STI services in public and private health sector as well as to continue integrated SRH & HIV prevention services in brothel settings. UNFPA’s has a mandate under it’s9th country programme to provide support for increasing institutional capacity to deliver integrated and equitable sexual and reproductive health services including STI/HlV in development and humanitarian context.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Consultant will mainly be responsible to develop and finalize technical report on country prevention program on STD and AIDS.
∎ Finalize reporting template/structure
∎ Compile all the data reports submitted individual reporting entity
∎ Edit and finalize the narrative portion along with smart presentation of the data/information
∎ Collect feedbacks of the stakeholders and respective entity
∎ Submit final version right after incorporating the feedbacks
Additional Requirements:
∎ Relevant academic discipline: Master’s degree in any discipline.
∎ Minimum 5 years of professional experience at senior position in the field of HIV/AIDS and SRH prevention
∎ Experience in developing different reports in the Bangladesh context.
∎ University degree, preferably advanced level (Phd), in any discipline;
∎ At least Minimum 5 years of professional experience at senior position in the field of HIV/AIDS and SRH prevention
∎ Proven ability and experience in reviewing and editing report along with smart presentation of data
∎ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
∎ A high standard of professionalism;
∎ Fluency in English (written and spoken) with excellent drafting and communication skills.
