Educational Requirements:
∎ An advanced university degree in marketing/ masters of business administration/ development studies/ Agricultural science/ other relevant disciplines
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 7 years of experience in working with market system research, business network development and management
∎ At least 10 years working experiences on inclusive business development and private rural service delivery systems (added values in the field of Agriculture, WASH and Nutrition). Knowledge on people's organizations /Federations and ability to support entrepreneurship is an advantage.
∎ Very good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to engage and work with community producer, market intermediaries, input-output market actors, and public-private sectors.
∎ Previous experience in developing and/or implementing local level service delivery model, professional network/platform and public-private partners model/strategies.
∎ Experience in consultation with stakeholders and organizing workshops, training on inclusive business, market system change, and private sector engagement.
∎ Demonstrated ability to provide relevant, well-grounded, and high-quality analytical inputs to operations with a focus on results.
∎ Ability to write effectively for various audiences under pressure, with tight deadlines in a rapidly changing organizational environment with attention to detail
∎ Strong drive for results with the ability to work independently and diligently, while prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable but Consultant should put forward their proposed Monthly/Daily rate in the cover letter, considering tax & VAT as per government rules.
