Experience:

• At least 10 years

• Master of Science (MSc) in Fisheries
• Master of Science (MSc) in Agriculture
• Master of Social Science (MSS) in Development Studies
• Doctoral

• Master of Development Studies (MDS) in Development Studies
• Fisheries PhD will be the additional advantage.
• Global GAP assurer/trainer will get preferences.
• Experience in evaluating any projects/sectoral study funded by IFAD/World Bank/ ADB / DANIDA and / or any other UN agencies will preferable.

Job Location: Shyamnagar, Kaliganj, Debhata (Satkhira District)

Responsibilities & Context:

• The consultant will be responsible for delivering a series of outputs throughout the assignment.
• An inception report will be submitted within ten working days of contract signing, outlining the overall design, methodology, rationale, tools, analytical approaches, and a detailed work plan, along with draft questionnaires or interview guides.
• A statistically sound sampling frame and sample size will be developed, followed by the preparation of data collection tools including both quantitative questionnaires and qualitative checklists.
• Key discussions and consultations held during the process will be documented through interview notes and supporting documents.
• Preliminary findings will be shared through a PowerPoint presentation and a concise handout in an online workshop, where feedback from PO and stakeholders will be gathered and incorporated into the draft report.
• Additionally, a three-page brief summarizing key objectives and results will be prepared for wider circulation.
• An indicator table will be produced to compare progress against baseline values, including disaggregated data for treatment and control groups.
• The final report will include an executive summary, detailed analysis of the intervention, methodology, limitations, findings, conclusions, and SMART recommendations with a focus on gender and youth involvement in value chain development.
• It will also contain appendices such as the ToR, references, lists of respondents, and other relevant materials.
• Five hard copies and an electronic version of the final report will be submitted one week after receiving consolidated feedback.
• Case studies capturing success stories from the field will be incorporated to enrich the findings.
• Finally, the consultant will deliver the complete dataset in Excel and SPSS formats.
• All deliverables produced under this assignment will remain the property of RMTP/PKSF, and evaluators will not be permitted to use or publish them independently without prior written authorization.

Compensation & Other Benefits: Remuneration will be given as per contract and project budget.
