∎ ICCO Cooperation is a leading INGO working for securing sustainable livelihoods, justice and dignity for all in Bangladesh since 1972. We established an office in Cox`s Bazar following the influx of Rohingya refugees in August 2017. Our interventions are in food security, livelihoods, WASH and RR with the beneficiaries from both the host communities and Rohingya Refugee. To implement our projects, we are looking for skilled and ambitious professionals for the position of Community Mobilizer (CM)` to join our team in Teknaf, Cox`s Bazar. The CM will work under supervision of the project office in projects in the food security and livelihood sector. Overall responsibilities of the CMs are to facilitate the process of project activities implementation in the field with the targeted beneficiaries, these include beneficiary selection, skill development training, asset transfer and follow-up support to utilize assets in income generation activities
∎ Key contacts:Reports to Project Officer/ Sr. Project Officer. Functional contact with training expert, monitoring expert, counterparts and liaison with other official as appropriate
∎ Working Conditions:
∎ Working days from Sunday to Thursday 40 hours per week. This position may be required to work some overtime hours.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
∎ Yearly renewable contract based on fund availability and performance.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsibility # 1: Organization and facilitation project activities in the field:
∎ Prepare work plan weekly/ monthly in consultation with supervisor
∎ Facilitate the process of beneficiary selection, verification survey door-to-door, and assist supervisor for validation the selected beneficiaries
∎ Undertake PNA and PAPD (Participatory Need Assessment and Participatory Action Plan Development)
∎ Organize course of skill development training for the beneficiary
∎ Organize events of community meeting, workshops, campaigns in connection with the project activities
∎ Organize and facilitate issue-based awareness session / events for the beneficiary
∎ Assets/ inputs/ cash for training/ work distribution; prepare beneficiary list, master roll, organize distribution points, participant gathering, crowed-control, check quality of the goods/ assets as per work-order, recognize the beneficiary by face and by documents at the distribution points and distribute assets/ cash (for training/ work)
∎ Responsibility # 2: Liaison and coordination:
∎ Coordinate and rapport with the members of the local government body/ CiC, site-management office, and other counterpart working in the same areas
∎ Be informed of the services and facilities provided by other health, education, agricultural extension and social welfare.
∎ Represent the ICCO to Union Parishad and other GOB officials, the people and communities living in the Union and other NGOs and stakeholders
∎ Responsibility # 3: Monitoring and reporting:
∎ Prepare and submit all required forms and, monthly and quarterly
∎ Regular monitoring of project progress and performance through frequent field visits, monthly reporting and monthly meetings.
∎ Ensure that M&E systems are being implemented properly and data/information are being collected, checked and reported on time.
∎ Prepare and submit monthly report, draft Quarterly Monitoring Report and other related reports to Team Leader on a timely basis.
∎ Ensure proper and quality documentation of organizational achievement, lessons learnt and important events
∎ Responsibilities may vary according to project priorities

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum two year of experience in a livelihoods and emergency response project.
∎ Work experience in beneficiary selection, input distribution and training delivery.
∎ Able to speak the local/ Chittagong dialect (must)
∎ Female candidates strongly preferred
∎ Strong team player who communicates and shares with other team members
∎ Punctual and good at time management and strong relationship building skillsYearly renewable contract based on fund availability and performance.
