Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent will work with the Communications and Media Manager to produce quality information and documentation targeted at both internal and external audiences. Internal communication will focus on updating the response situation report, providing a response updates for the Team Leader when needed and taking and distributing the minutes of the weekly Rohingya Response all staff meeting. External communications will focus on the coordination and the production of donor briefing papers, visitor briefing papers and dash boards
∎ The communications coordinator will be further responsible for collecting case studies, success stories and documenting programs when required.
∎ In addition, the-holder will work closely with the Team Leader and Sr. Management team to minute meeting and follow up on action points, as necessary. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating high level visits in particular and other content-gathering and donor visits when possible.
∎ The incumbent will work closely with the Communications and Media Manager in cox's Bazar, as well as the Sr. Communications Manager in Dhaka.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 06 months' experience working in communications at non-government organization or aid agency, as well as other experience in communications work in another sector;
∎ At least 03 years' experience in a communications role in another sector;
∎ Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English and Bangla
∎ Ability to work fast, effectively and independently in often high-pressured environments, working across number of teams to deliver high quality output;
∎ Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines and make decision on what to prioritize when working under pressure on a number of projects;
∎ Experience in working in multicultural environment;
∎ Photography, audio and film skills
∎ Commitment to Save the Children values;
∎ High proficiency in English and Bangla;
∎ Excellent inter personal communication skills; Excellent in team work and networking;
∎ Good computer operating skills
∎ Highly organized in order to meet multiple deadlines.
