Strategic Communication Planning:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy aligned with the NGO's goals.
• Identify target audiences and tailor messages to effectively reach them.

Content Creation:

• Produce high-quality content for various platforms, including newsletters, press releases, social media, and the organization’s website.
• Create compelling stories and case studies that highlight the impact of the NGO’s work.

Media Relations:

• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and other media representatives.
• Prepare press kits and manage press releases to ensure accurate and positive coverage of the organization’s initiatives.

Social Media Management:

• Oversee the NGO’s social media presence, creating engaging posts and monitoring interactions.
• Analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.

Internal Communication:

• Facilitate communication between departments to ensure cohesive messaging and promote a collaborative environment.
• Organize and manage internal communication tools and channels.

Event Promotion:

• Support the planning and promotion of events, workshops, and campaigns to enhance visibility and engagement.
• Coordinate logistics for media coverage and public participation in events.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

• Track and analyze communication outcomes to inform future strategies.
• Prepare reports on communication efforts and their impact on the NGO's objectives.

Integrity:

• Showcases integrity standards as outlined in Cordaid’s integrity policies.
• Fulfills integrity responsibilities as outlined in Cordaid’s Integrity Framework and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Actively contributes to a safe environment within their scope of influence by encouraging dialogue, trust, and understanding and adherence to Cordaid’s integrity standards and procedures.

Other duties/additional tasks: 

• Supports the project’s security and risk management system through identification, communication and analysis of potential risks and security issues in the project region and related mitigation recommendations and procedures.
