Job Responsibilities:
∎ Thorough knowledge and experience with a wide range of cameras and lenses, ranging from DSLR (Canon MK series, Sony a7 series) to film grade cameras (Arri/Alexa, Red weapon/dragon, Sony FX9, FS5/FS7)
∎ Knowledge of professional camera movement, frame composition, and sound design. Additional expertise in lighting, set design, and script work
∎ Analyzing the screenplay, characters, and story structure and deciding on a visual approach with the director
∎ Conducting research regarding available locations, props, and weather conditions at the prospective shoot site
∎ Selecting and sourcing required equipment, tools, and crew members
∎ Conducting location recce, according to the visual and logistical needs of the production
∎ Approving costumes, make-up, and hair, as well as the color and textures used on set
∎ Training crew to safely use new and modified equipment
∎ Attending cast rehearsals and providing advice where appropriate
∎ Working with the post-production team to ensure the desired effects are preserved and that the mood of the film is maintained
∎ Rudimentary skills in editing and coloring software such as Premiere pro and da vinci resolve preferred
∎ Expanding networks and maintaining relationships with industry professionals
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a reputed university
∎ Extensive experience working in the industry
∎ In-depth understanding on the importance of visual effect
∎ Detail oriented and demonstrate good creative intelligence
∎ Good knowledge of AV tools for smooth communication with editors
∎ The ability and enthusiasm to work long hours and spend time away from home
Salary:
