Job Context:
∎ As CP Case Management Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing of CP case management and ensure maintain of confidential filing system in both hard copies and CP IMS+. You will provide guidance on case management to Community Volunteer Caseworkers and provide direct support to all cases. You will also be responsible for maintaining strong coordination with CIC , other actors ,donor and other government staff of your respective camp.

∎ Duty Station: Ukhiya, Bangladesh (60% field work, 40% office work)
∎ Report To: CP Case Management Coordinator
∎ Expected Start Date: At Earliest
∎ Contract length: Up to 31st December, 2022 (With possibility of Extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the guidance of the Child Protection Case Management Coordinator, the Child Protection Officer will be responsible for:

∎ Ensure qualitiful case management and input data of child cases by maintaining confidentiality through both hard copy and CPIMS+ system.
∎ Identify capacity building needs and provide training according to the needs to community Volunteer Caseworkers.
∎ Organize weekly case management supervision and coaching with community volunteer workers.
∎ Ensure each child is able to access the necessary services (medical, nutrition, police, legal, etc.) via the referral pathway.
∎ As needed (especially in cases of separated or unaccompanied children), provide appropriate dignity or comfort items to affected children.
∎ Conduct family tracing to reunite children separated from their parents or other relatives, which may include liaising with local authorities and/or other child protection agencies operating.
∎ Report to Child Protection Case Management Coordinator any identified trends or common risks, and recommend steps to address or mitigate them where possible.
∎ Identify any issues with the referral pathway and work with RI's CP staff and local authorities to address them.
∎ Maintaining strong coordination with CIC , other actors ,donor and other government staff of your respective camp.
∎ Work in close collaboration with the CPA to strengthen our relationship with the community and to strengthen the referral system.
∎ Work with the child protection team to ensure close links between case management and our work with community based child protection mechanism.
∎ Ensure constant and transparent communication and collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including community members, community leaders and families.
∎ Submit weekly case management reports and ensure that information is kept up to date.
∎ Coordinate with other agencies offering case management services to children on referral and transfer of cases.
∎ Any other responsibilities as requested by supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Bachelor degree (Social workers, Psychology, Education, relevant Degree).
∎ Minimum 2 year of experience in Case Management and 2 years' experience working with NGO in Cox's bazar is preferable.
∎ Extensive experience working in child protection programming or relevant experiences.
∎ Extensive experience in CP case management.
∎ Strong background and skills in facilitating trainings, coaching and mentoring others.
∎ Familiarity with CP minimum standard.
∎ Competency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel.
∎ Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate clearly and effectively at all levels, taking into account cultural and language difficulties.
∎ Enthusiasm to learn.
∎ Optimistic and friendly.
∎ Flexibility.
∎ Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in Bangali and English.
∎ Good command in Rohingya, an asset.

Salary:
∎ As per RI National Pay Scale Policy in Bangladesh

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Weekly 2 holidays, Insurance
∎ Two festival bonuses in a year equivalent to one Gross salary.
∎ Severance (8.33% of the monthly Gross salary) goes with the monthly release of the salary.
