∎ Masters, Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology, Diploma
∎ Master's degree or MBA from any reputed university is required.
∎ B.Sc. in Textile Engineering from a recognized institution will be given preference.
∎ Candidates with a Diploma in Clothing Manufacturing from reputed local or foreign institutions will be highly preferred.
∎ Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Knit Industry Management (KIM) from BRAC University or PGD in Garment Business (GB) from IBA, University of Dhaka will be considered an added advantage.

∎ Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of the knit garments market, buyer expectations, and operational efficiency.
∎ Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.
∎ Demonstrated expertise in people management—fair, motivating, and able to lead diverse production teams towards common goals.
∎ Sound strategic thinking and business development competency with a results-driven approach.
∎ Proficient in performance tracking, data analysis, and key operational metrics.
∎ Well-versed in MS Office, ERP systems, and modern business tools/infrastructure.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead, develop, and oversee the entire knit garments production process across all concerns of the Garments Division located in Mawna Zone.
∎ Monitor and integrate day-to-day production activities to ensure smooth workflow and effective coordination between departments.
∎ Ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective production of knit garments as per buyer requirements and production schedules.
∎ Maintain strict compliance with factory standards, buyer specifications, and quality control protocols in knitting and garment manufacturing.
∎ Define production roadmaps by evaluating feasibility, lead time, cost implications, and operational impact.
∎ Identify potential production challenges and proactively resolve them to prevent delays and ensure continuous operations.
∎ Coordinate closely with factory managers, floor supervisors, and cross-functional teams (Merchandising, IE, Quality, Maintenance) to ensure seamless execution.
∎ Lead and motivate production teams to consistently meet or exceed productivity, efficiency, and quality benchmarks.
∎ Optimize the usage of raw materials and energy, and drive initiatives to reduce process waste and non-value-adding activities.
∎ Enhance profitability by identifying cost-saving opportunities through strategic planning, lean practices, and process innovation.
∎ Maintain updated records of production metrics, technical details, and cost parameters at each production stage.
∎ Ensure proper line balancing, layout optimization, and effective utilization of manpower and machinery (MMR).
∎ Continuously identify bottlenecks in production processes and implement corrective actions to improve operational efficiency.
∎ Build a high-performance culture on the shop floor by coaching, mentoring, and engaging production staff.
∎ Drive cost control measures across the manufacturing process, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
∎ Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly production performance reports to top management with actionable insights.
