  • Expertise in SAP and financial automation.



Responsibilities & Context:

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy of our steel manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership, deep financial expertise, and strong industry experience to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence in a heavy manufacturing environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s overall financial strategy, aligned with business goals and long-term growth plans.

  • Oversee financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and capital expenditure management for large-scale steel manufacturing operations.

  • Ensure strong internal controls, compliance with IFRS, local regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance requirements.

  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to optimize financial stability and liquidity.

  • Lead cost management, pricing strategies, and financial risk assessments to enhance profitability in a competitive steel sector.

  • Provide financial insights and business intelligence to support strategic decisions at the Board and Executive level.

  • Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounts team, ensuring continuous development and capability building.

  • Control production costs, monitor profitability, and develop pricing strategies.

  • Oversee investment appraisals, mergers & acquisitions, feasibility studies, and project financing related to steel industry expansions.

  • Represent the company in external financial dealings with banks, auditors, investors, and regulatory authorities
