Educational Requirements:
∎ Qualified Chartered Accountant (FCA/ACA is preferable) with MBA/Masters from any reputed University
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Financial Planning and Analysis
∎ Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
∎ Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
∎ Develop financial and tax strategies
∎ Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
∎ Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
∎ Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports
∎ Analyze and prepare MIS related to the financial health of the organization and report to the management for any deviation or discrepancies
∎ Ensure the genuineness of the payment/receive/journal approval memo before execution
∎ Ensure the regular payments of the company through system
∎ Checking the voucher meticulously for proper entries
∎ Monitoring & supervising General Accounting process
∎ Ensure the deduction of AIT & VAT from payment and arrange the deposit to National Exchequer
∎ Checking and verification of any Reschedule/Settlement issues of from Accounts point of view
∎ Direct association from Accounts Department to run Core Financial Software
∎ Manage and perform company secretariat task
∎ Ensure the Bank Reconciliation Statement on monthly basis with in the stipulated time
∎ Ensure the genuineness of ledger balance and if required complete the reconciliation
∎ Give impact the items which remain under reconciliation
∎ Ensure the monthly ledger heads for income & expenditure
∎ Liaison with other departments to get the required figures for preparation of monthly financial statement
∎ Complete the monthly financial statement
∎ Prepare the variance statement and produce it before the management
∎ Assist and coordinate with the External Auditor for completion of the yearly statutory audit
∎ Managing, motivating and leading a team of people
∎ Any other job assigned by Management from time to time
Additional Requirements:
∎ 10 Years work experience including 3 year's as CFO or immediate below position in any reputed Bank or Financial Institution
∎ The candidate should have experience of Initial Public Offering
∎ Ability to develop and drive strategic initiatives and business plans
∎ Excellent Communication skills required
∎ Proven manager and motivator of staff
∎ Ability to take initiative and resolve complex issues
∎ Strong knowledge about accounting software and MS Excel
∎ Strong knowledge about VAT, Taxes and IFRSs
