City Kebab & Café is expanding its culinary offerings to include a premium range of juices, pastries, and desserts. We are looking for a skilled and creative chef who specializes in juice, pastry, and dessert preparation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing our restaurant’s dessert and beverage experience, catering to modern food lovers in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of fresh juices, smoothies, mocktails, and milkshakes
- Create a wide range of pastries, cakes, desserts, and sweets using modern and traditional techniques
- Innovate and develop new dessert and beverage recipes based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Ensure high-quality presentation and plating of all items
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards as per restaurant policy
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery
- Monitor inventory of pastry and juice ingredients, and communicate with the purchase team for stock replenishment
- Ensure minimal wastage of ingredients and proper storage of raw materials
- Handle customer feedback professionally and adjust recipes to improve taste and satisfaction
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff when necessary
