Job Responsibilities:
∎ Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the EMK Center
∎ Plan programs involving deadlines, milestones and processes in support of the EMK Center strategy driven by the U.S. Embassy mission goal of furthering public diplomacy in Bangladesh
∎ Develop budgets and operations
∎ Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements
∎ Supervise all program and project managers involved to provide feedback and resolve complex problems
∎ Discover ways to enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and people based on analysis of social and political change, assessment of trends, and youth driven public interest
∎ Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies
∎ Keep stakeholders informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations
∎ Represent EMK Center in various forums
∎ Coordinating and partnering with public and private sectors for impactful public diplomacy programs.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven experience in a senior managerial position
∎ Experience of project/program management techniques and methods
∎ Experience of using performance evaluation techniques and key metrics
∎ Experience of data analysis, reporting and budgeting
∎ Demonstrated cross-functional exposure in entrepreneurship, arts, promotion of rights, leadership, volunteerism, education and emerging technologies
∎ Must be a Bangladeshi citizen
