Job Responsibilities – Cashier (Pet Shop)

1. Customer Service & Sales

   • Greet customers warmly with a friendly and charming presence, creating a welcoming atmosphere in the store.

   • Assist customers in selecting products, answering queries, and providing information about pet-related items and services.

   • Maintain a polite, professional, and customer-focused approach both in-store and online.

2. Order Management

   • Handle both in-store purchases and online orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing and transactions.

   • Process payments through cash, cards, mobile banking, and other digital methods with precision.

   • Coordinate with delivery personnel to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

3. Cash Handling & Record Keeping

   • Manage daily cash flow, balance registers, and prepare end-of-day cash reports.

   • Keep accurate records of all transactions, refunds, and discounts.

   • Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data.

4. Stock & Product Handling

   • Receive, unload, and load products and supplies in the shop with care and accuracy.

   • Ensure proper placement and labeling of items on shelves for easy access.

   • Assist in maintaining adequate stock levels and report shortages promptly.

5. Digital & Administrative Tasks

   • Use computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software to process orders and maintain inventory records.

   • Assist in updating online platforms with product availability, prices, and offers.

   • Ensure smooth communication with suppliers, delivery services, and customers regarding orders and stock.

6. Shop Maintenance & Promotion

   • Contribute to creating an attractive shopping environment by keeping the cashier counter and store neat and organized.

   • Support promotional activities, discounts, and seasonal campaigns to attract and retain customers.

   • Suggest add-on or complementary products to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.

7. Teamwork & Professional Growth

   • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth store operations.
