∎ Project : Joining Forces for Child Protection in Emergencies (JF-CPiE)
∎ BITA is looking for suitable candidates of the below-mentioned posts under the program titled "Joining Forces for Child Protection in Emergencies (JF-CPiE) Project" to be implemented in support with Plan International Bangladesh, funded by GFFO. The project working locations cover Host community of Ukhiya upazila and Teknaf upazila and Rohingya camps in Cox`s Bazar District.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To deliver Case Management services in a timely and appropriate (quality and scale) manner to child survivors of and children at risk of abuse, violence, exploitation and neglect. Case Management Officers should work with Community Volunteers and provide them capacity building support.
∎ Key Area 1: Ensure quality implementation of the CM component of the CPiE response
∎ In collaboration with the Case Management Coordinator and other Caseworkers, implement Case Management in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures at the Cox's Bazar level, and inter-agency CM Tools and Flow Chart.
∎ Disseminate information; provide support and advocacy to individuals and families.
∎ Identify and register cases, conduct Rapid and Comprehensive Assessments of children in need/at risk, prepare and implement case plans, make referrals to relevant services, follow up and close cases when appropriate. Organize case conferences with other actors when needed.
∎ Maintain CPIMS+ properly.
∎ Contribute to regular update of service mapping, liaise with other internal/external services, agencies through referral pathway and coordinate cases within the framework of inter-agency cooperation.
∎ Participate in team meetings, weekly one-to-one supervision with CM Team Coordinator.
∎ Provide regular updates to CM Coordinator on the progress of the implementation, challenges faced, and additional support needed.
∎ Participate in trainings offered by Plan International and within Inter-Agency level.
∎ Key Area 2: Capacity Building of Volunteer
∎ Support in design and facilitation of capacity development activities/training for volunteers in the areas of CM guiding principles, identification, registration, case planning, referrals, follow-up, and case closure, communicating with children, identification of signs of abuse, working with community structures, providing psychological first aid, etc.
∎ Provide on-the-job coaching and support to the volunteers.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3 years' experience in a Humanitarian context.
∎ Minimum 02 years' experience of Case management.
∎ Good knowledge in referral mechanism.
∎ Experience of working with community-based child protection committees and networks
∎ Qualification in social work, anthropology, development, or other relevant fields.
∎ Strong technical understanding of child protection and community-based approaches.
∎ Experience working with children and families.
∎ Ability to work in a team, capable to work under pressure and be able to work in a sensitive manner.
∎ Working with trustworthiness and integrity and has a clear commitment to Plan International's core values and humanitarian principles.
∎ Ability to work under extreme circumstances, including stress, high security risks and harsh living conditions. Works and lives with a flexible, adaptable and resilient manner.
∎ Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to gender and diversity
∎ Excellent communication skills in cross-cultural contexts.
∎ Direct working experience with Host & Rohingya Community based project implementation.
∎ Excellent Good communication skill in English is required and local language skill is preferred.
∎ Ability to develop child protection based material development for community.
∎ Strong It skills, including MS ward Excel, power point & internet etc.
