Education:
    • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
  • MBBS degree from a government or reputed private medical college with valid BMDC registration.

Additional Requirements:
  • Age 22 to 40 years
  • Completion of at least one year of postgraduate training in internal medicine, cardiology, anaesthesiology, or a relevant discipline from an approved government medical college.

  • Training in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS).

  • Knowledge of poisoning-related management (according to country context).

  • Excellent computer operation skills; familiarity with telemedicine systems and electronic data records.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email communication, and web browsing.

  • Fluency in both spoken and written aspects of both Bengali and English



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Take part in a daily 8-hour roster duty in the call centre.
  • Manage all incoming telephone calls from patients, perform diagnosis, and prescribe medication according to patient conditions.
  • Locate patients’ geolocation and connect them to the nearest first responder whenever such situations arise.
  • Ensure timely delivery of patient care duties by the first responder.
  • Provide referral information to patients (location of the nearest health facility where further treatment is available).
  • When required, contact the nearest health facility and arrange ambulance/emergency transport to the place of incident.
  • Communicate with the consultant (on-call) in the event of emergency cases.
  • Ensure timely follow-up of patients’ conditions.
  • Maintain records (patient contact, history, and treatment) of incoming calls in the electronic database.
  • Work closely with other multidisciplinary teams involving senior consultants (on-call), nurses, auxiliary staff, and administrative staff.
  • Report on a daily basis, hand over tasks to colleagues in the next roster, and update assigned deliverables to coordinators via email as required.
  • The applicant may be required to perform other relevant duties as assigned by the organization.
