Responsibilities & Context:
Ensure compliance with national drug laws and health authority regulations
Maintain proper documentation of controlled substances
Prepare reports for audits and inspections
Ensure safe storage and handling of pharmaceuticals
Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper storage conditions
Maintain optimal stock levels of medicines and medical supplies
Assist in clinical decision support where necessary
Educate patients on medication usage, dosage, and side effects
Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions
