Job Context:
∎ Job Location: Dhaka (w/ regional visits)
∎ Contract Duration: 1 year (subject to extension)
∎ JITA, a social enterprise affiliated with CARE Social Ventures (CSV), creates economic value for rural communities through income opportunities and inclusive market access. As part of a new partnership-driven initiative, JITA is developing a last mile sales agent network to promote improved nutrition and hygiene outcomes of selected rural and marginalized communities within Khulna and Cox`s Bazar. Through the project, JITA will seek to achieve the following major outcomes:
∎ Increased consumption of nutritious, diverse, and safe diets by rural households;
∎ Social and economic empowerment of women and adolescents;
∎ Adoption of improved water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) practices.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitoring project activities and review supporting documents and deliverables
∎ Conducting activity output and impact analysis against set measurement criteria.
∎ Developing frameworks for data collection, storage and tracking with project team support.
∎ Identifying problems and shortfalls and proposing solutions.
∎ Providing operational support such as liaising with stakeholders, tracking timelines, etc.
∎ Preparing, editing, and maintaining project documentation and reports.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2-3 years' experience in business strategy, market research, communication or relevant field.
∎ Experience in donor funded projects a plus.
∎ Proven capacity in data capturing, recording, analyzing and converting into digestible content.
∎ Strong communication and presentation skills, with written/spoken fluency in Bangla and English.
∎ Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
∎ Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
∎ Advanced proficiency in IT skills, especially in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
