Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor Degree in any Discipline (Journalism is preferable)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for getting sports news and visuals.
∎ Responsible for the final packaging, production and content of all sports bulletins, segments, programs, headlines, sports highlights & tickers.
∎ Keep in touch with reporters, district correspondents to get sports news, stories to go on air ASAP and feed the Output desk’s requirement to take sports news on the channel forward through different formats, like phonos, OOVs etc.
∎ Perform on demand job assigned by HOD from time to time which is achievable, reasonable, and relevant to job and legal also.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Written and oral Communication skill both in Bangla and English
∎ Computer operation skill, MS office, e mail, internet browsing etc.
∎ Good scripting skills & writing flair
∎ Good visual sense and understanding of different news formats
∎ Excellent sense of sequencing and timing
∎ In depth knowledge about the beat one is covering and good understanding with the key persons connected to the beat
∎ Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment
∎ Accuracy Skill in Sports knowledge
