Job Responsibilities:
∎ GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB:
∎ The main focus of the position; QC technician- Online is to conduct organoleptic quality inspection of products. The role is responsible for the monitoring and recording of activities respective to quality control in production lines. Shall ensure all the activities are in compliance to the internal and external quality and food safety standards.
∎ JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Comply with company’s policies, procedures, rules and regulations and make sure the shift members follow the same.
∎ Ensure the staffs are following H&S and GMPs standards during work inside the processing plant.
∎ Ensure the facility and processing lines are well kept, clean and in order before the start of the work. Conduct audits and inspections as required in the quality plan.
∎ Ensure the facility (infrastructure) is well maintained and the GMP requirements are practiced throughout the operations.
∎ Initiate preventive and corrective action for all non-conformances on the spot and ensure that they are not recurring.
∎ Coordinate with the QC-Shift In-charge & QC Manager in various quality, food safety and environment related objectives to be implemented in the processing plant.
∎ Maintain all documentation as per the QC quality plan and as per the systems requirement (FSSC/BAP/GLOBAL GAP/HACCP etc.).
∎ Implement corrections and corrective action while deviations in process and products occurs, recording the same to comply with quality and food safety standards.
∎ Provide direction for the production team in complying with process standards and product specification.
∎ Ensure all staff processing section care about environment and prevent wastage of raw materials & other utilities (water/electricity/paper and other resources)
∎ Ensure all staff follow and respect the safety procedures and policy of the company and inform higher management about any potential risk of an accident that can harm the facility/personnel/product.
∎ Monitor the activities inside and outside processing plant and ensure that the biosecurity & food security policies/standards are followed by all. Report violations to concerned Supervisor/manager. Report to higher management on any action of fraud, theft, and sabotage by any staff.
∎ Required to continuously support production during processing operation. 90% time to be in production floor and 10% on document management and reporting.
∎ Comply with the individual/joint targets agreed upon in relation to quality & food safety.
∎ Assist and actively participate in traceability exercise, mock product recall, fire safety team, first aid team etc.
∎ Continuously monitor the facility and premises for any pest activity that may potentially contaminate the product, packaging and food contact surfaces and report to pest contractor H&S section.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3-years’ experience in the same field.
∎ Experience in any food processing facility
∎ Language Requirements:
∎ Fluent in English (reading, writing & speaking) accuracy in data presentation.
∎ Well organized and Self-motivated.
Salary: Tk. 50000 - 60000 (Monthly)
