Responsibilities & Context:

• Machine Operation: Set up and operate injection molding machines to produce plastic parts based on production orders.
• Mold Changes: Install, adjust, and remove molds as needed to meet production demands and ensure proper machine setup.
• Quality Control: Monitor and inspect parts during the production process to ensure they meet quality specifications; make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve operational problems, including mechanical or quality issues, during machine operation.
• Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on injection molding machines and related equipment.
• Production Documentation: Accurately record production data, including product counts, material usage, and quality issues.
• Material Handling: Load raw materials into the machine and ensure an adequate supply for uninterrupted operation.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including using personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting any hazards or incidents.
