Responsibilities & Context:
Welcome all customers and patients with a smiling face, proper manners, and courtesy, and provide necessary assistance.
Provide accurate information to patients regarding hospital services, different departments, doctors’ schedules, and tariff/fees.
Prepare and properly hand over invoices for all financial transactions including patient registration, consultation fees, investigation/pathology test bills (indoor & outdoor), and pharmacy bills.
Listen to patients’ queries, complaints, and problems patiently, resolve them, or refer to the relevant department.
Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and a pleasant environment at the hospital’s front desk and reception area.
Control visitors’ entry, provide information, and give directions as needed.
Properly preserve and update patient records, files, and necessary documents.
Sincerely perform special duties, reporting, or additional tasks as assigned by the management.
Maintain polite and courteous behavior with patients and their attendants, upholding the reputation of the hospital.
Take quick decisions in emergency situations and assist in providing proper service to patients.
Follow hospital policies, rules, and protocols, and work with a team spirit.
