Responsibilities & Context:
Financial Verification: Review subcontractor payment applications for mathematical accuracy and ensure all required supporting documentation.
Field Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to physically verify progress claims (e.g., confirming that the quantity of concrete poured or steel installed matches the billing).
Compliance Monitoring: Assist in auditing project activities for adherence to local laws, environmental regulations, and internal company policies.
Data Management: Maintain organised digital audit trails and work papers within the Project Management Software (e.g., ERP).
Inventory Audit: Participate in periodic counts of on-site materials and equipment to prevent loss, theft, or mismanagement.
Reporting: Assist in drafting audit findings and recommendations for the senior auditor to present to project stakeholders.
