NESL now invites applications from competent candidates for the post of Audit Manager/Supervisor for employment with one of our prospective clients, Howladar Yunus & Co. (HYC), to supervise one of its audit team.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Audit Supervisor oversees audit staff during audits and control engagements that evaluate corporate management and industry operating practices.
∎ Oversees audit planning, audit risk management, field work, audit reporting, prepares reports, communicate findings and recommendations to line and senior management.
∎ Review automated audit work papers prepared by the audit staff to ensure sound audit theory and compliance with the department's methodology.
∎ Responsible for the daily supervision of audit staff and responsible for the development of audit staff and the completion of performance evaluations.
∎ Ensures that reviews are completed in compliance with the national and international standards.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Audit experience in public accounting or internal audit.
∎ Financial Service industry experience will add value.
∎ Newly qualified CA/ACCA qualified are preferred. A CA course complete at ADVANCE STAGE shall also be considered for a deserving candidate.
∎ 3-5 years of audit experience in public accounting or internal audit.
∎ Demonstrated technical abilities in select areas (audit, accounting, regulatory, compliance, etc.)
∎ Good analytical, interpersonal, time management, research, and communications skills.
∎ Good command is MS Excel, Word and ppt.
∎ Exposure in systems audit and use of audit technology would be considered as added qualification.
∎ Must be capable of presenting results to senior management.
∎ Ability to mentor and guide article students.
∎ Willingness to travel outside Dhaka as and when required.
Salary: Negotiable
