Basic computer knowledge.
Responsibilities & Context:
Dispensing medicines according to the prescription.
Review prescriptions to assure accuracy ascertain the needed ingredients, and to evaluate their suitability.
Provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage.
Taking inventory of all medication and pharmaceutical supplies.
Processing sales transactions for medications and other pharmaceutical supplies.
Make sure medicines are stored appropriately and securely.
Restocking shelves with medications and other pharmaceutical supplies.
Maintain records, such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories files, and control records for registries of poisons, narcotics, anticancer drug high rate items and handover properly.
Accurately typing and printing out prescription labels.
Ensuring that work areas are organized and clean.
Any other task assigned by the management.
