Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as Asst. Manager / Manager (IE). The incumbent will be responsible for leading the Industrial Engineering team to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality across the production floor. The role requires strong analytical skills, sound knowledge of work study, method improvement, production planning, and implementation of modern IE tools & techniques to achieve organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and lead the IE team to ensure optimum utilization of resources.
Conduct work study, time study, and line balancing to increase efficiency and reduce production costs.
Develop and implement methods improvement, motion study, and process re-engineering.
Prepare operation breakdown, machine layout, and manpower allocation for new styles.
Monitor daily production and efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective actions.
Ensure accurate SMV (Standard Minute Value) calculation and support cost estimation.
Implement lean manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, etc.) for continuous improvement.
Support Production, Planning, and Quality teams by providing IE solutions.
Prepare reports, analyze data, and provide strategic recommendations to management.
Train and develop team members on IE tools, systems, and best practices.
