Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Coordinate effectively with the technical and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely procurement planning.
∎ Manage the rolling forecast of Raw Materials, Spare Parts, Capital Machinery, Services and Automobiles for all enlisted overseas vendors.
∎ Communication with overseas suppliers, negotiation with suppliers and finding new suppliers.
∎ Handle end-to-end processes related to local and foreign Letters of Credit (LC).
∎ Oversee Export-Import operations and ensure compliance with all related procedures.
∎ Manage Customs procedures, ensuring timely clearance and documentation accuracy.
∎ Ensure compliance with VAT & Tax rules related to export and import activities.
∎ Update knowledge regarding Import policy order, EPO, HS Codes, NBR & Customs SRO Rules, local govt. rules for cross border trade, Central bank fix-policy order, ICC rules for Int. trade etc. and ensure all internal compliance for commercial (import) as per company policies.
∎ Manage Banking & Insurance related correspondence with AD Banks monitor LC opening to bill payment settlement to favor of suppliers.
∎ Maintain effective relationships with vendors, logistics partners and regulatory bodies.
∎ Prepare and analyze procurement and logistics reports for management review.
∎ Landed cost management & analysis of cost variances of imported goods.
∎ Any other job assigned from time to time by the management authority.
∎ Job Context: One Direction Commercial Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Asst. Manager/Manager – Commercial Sector to manage procurement planning, export-import operations, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate will oversee rolling forecasts, handle LCs, and ensure compliance with customs, VAT and tax regulations while supporting our technical and sales teams.
