Education:
    • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and a related field (CA/CC or Party qualified will be an advantage).

Responsibilities & Context:

We are seeking Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts to join our team and play a vital role, providing essential support and expertise in financial and accounting functions.

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements and reconcile with ERP system accounts.

  • Prepare monthly budget variance reports with detailed explanations for any increase or decrease.

  • Prepare monthly variance analysis reports with explanations for fluctuations.

  • Compile and prepare BMM (Business Management Meeting) papers in the prescribed format.

  • Prepare and execute weekly cash flow plans in coordination with the team.

  • Maintain and update the weekly UPAS LC revolving report; liaise with banks regularly to prevent overdue payments.

  • Reconcile payable and receivable ledgers (party-wise) with system control ledgers and monitor long-outstanding balances through ageing reports.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual fixed asset depreciation schedules and ensure alignment with system reports.

  • Prepare and audit annual Provident Fund (PF) accounts.

  • Manage statutory audits by KPMG and ensure smooth completion.

  • Supervise and guide team members to complete tasks on time and achieve KPI targets.

  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely submission of export documents to the bank and maintain control over customer collections to avoid EXP overdue.

  • Regularly update long-term loan schedules and ensure timely settlements to maintain CIB status in STD.

  • Prepare the monthly salary payment.

  • Prepare the employee’s tax computation and update the same in timely manner

  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management from time to time.
