To ensure effective and efficient material management by overseeing procurement follow-ups, inventory control, material issuance, and inter-company transfers, while maintaining accurate reporting and compliance with audit, customs, and bond requirements. This role supports smooth production operations by ensuring the timely availability and proper tracking of raw materials.
Responsibilities:
Material Management
- Follow up on purchase indents for both imported and local materials to ensure timely availability.
- Ensure timely issuance of materials to the production floor to avoid any operational delays.
- Track and update the status of pipeline materials in coordination with the supply chain team.
- Manage the goods receiving process, including accurate landed cost calculations (C&F, labor, transportation, etc.).
- Perform regular reconciliation of physical and system inventory to maintain data accuracy.
- Coordinate and oversee inter-company material transfers, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking.
- Organize and maintain inventory in compliance with customs, bond, and audit requirements.
Reporting & Inventory Control
- Prepare and submit daily material consumption reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Report end-of-day stock positions for all raw materials to support planning and procurement.
- Conduct monthly physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records.
- Generate and analyze monthly raw material consumption reports, including detailed reconciliation.
- Monitor and report on raw material ageing and identify non-moving or slow-moving items.
- Reconcile inter-company raw material loans and ensure accurate inter-unit inventory balances.
- Maintain and prepare raw material receipt statements in support of the annual audit process.
