∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Hospitality Management, Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Hospitality Management

∎ Age 25 to 30 years

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1. Welcome guests during check-in and give a fond farewell to guests during checkout.
∎ 2. Handling guest complaints and concerns in an efficient and timely manner.
∎ 3. Overseeing guests, arrivals and departures.
∎ 4. Coordinating and multi-tasking job duties in a busy environment.
∎ 5. Should possess detailed information about the resort, city as well as competition.
∎ 6. Detailed information regarding guest arrivals and guest requirements.
∎ 7. Have up-to-date information on daily room occupancy, providing excellent customer service as per hotel & resort standards.
∎ 8. Greeting guests as they enter and exit the resort.
∎ 9. Providing information regarding the resort, town attractions, activities, etc.
∎ 10. Check on reservations and complete their pre-registration formalities.
∎ 11. Allocate daylong & evening packages to all guests.
∎ 12. Maintain up-to-date information on room rates, current promotions, offers and packages
∎ 13. Maintain all guest folios in the manner instructed and type out necessary guest likes and dislikes in the appropriate fields on the profile.
∎ 14. Coordinate with housekeeping for clearing of rooms & other area.
∎ 15. Collect Guest feedback during guest departure, along with his likes and dislikes.
∎ 16. Perform basic cashier activities as and when required.
∎ 17. Maintain guest lockers for safe custody.
∎ 18. Ensure that all check-ins and check-outs are handled smoothly without unnecessary delay or discomfort to any guest.
∎ 19. Give proper and complete handover to the next shift
∎ 20. Should be able to handle all guests without bias or prejudice.
∎ 21. Follow the house rules and policies laid down by the management.
∎ 22. Adhere to strict staff grooming and hygiene standards.
∎ 23. Consciously and continuously strive to better his/ her skills and increase his/ her knowledge.
∎ 24. Good command of the English language is essential, both written and verbal
∎ 25. Must possess strong organization, time management skills, and attention to detail.
∎ 26. Must be guest service-focused and a team player.
∎ 27. A positive attitude and outgoing personality is essential.
∎ 28. Ability to relate well to resort guests and employees.
∎ 29. Professional in demeanor and presentation.
∎ 30. Personable, enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work independently.
∎ 31. Observant, discriminating and detail-oriented
∎ 32. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
∎ 33. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
∎ 34. Maintain department work & associate on behalf of the Front Office Manager in his absence.
∎ 35. Check driver’s overtime work with the team as a team player.
