Responsibilities & Context:
  • Ensure full compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, buyer Codes of Conduct (CoC), and company policies

  • Maintain and update all compliance-related documents, registers, and reports, Update company policies including Code of Conduct, Worker Handbook, Training Policy, and Workplace Rules

  • Preparing and presenting clear and concise compliance reports to the Board/ management.

  • Monitor and manage compliance certifications and audits such as **BSCI, SEDEX, Better Work, OCS, RCS, GOTS, GRS, RSC, Nirapon, etc.

  • Prepare, implement, and effectively monitor Corrective Action Plans (CAP) against audit findings to ensure timely and sustainable compliance

  • Handle buyer audits including WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, Higg Index, and C-TPAT (SCAN, GSV)

  • Monitor daily worker health & safety issues including fire safety, accident investigation, and root cause analysis

  • Arrange and conduct training programs such as orientation, health & safety, fire safety, first aid, MSDS, security awareness, and anti-harassment training

  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to leave, wages, overtime, benefits, and compensation

  • Maintain grievance handling and disciplinary procedures and ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace across all departments

  • Conduct regular factory walkthroughs to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.

  • To conduct training, awareness and award programs for the employees as per company as well as Buyers policy.

  • Maintain positive industrial relations among workers, factory management, and top management

  • Coordinate with government and non-government organizations regarding compliance matters

  • Review personal files, maternity benefits, discontinuation records, payroll, and salary sheets for audit readiness

  • Conduct injury analysis, risk assessments, and preventive action planning.

  • To Assist in developing, implementing, maintaining and reviewing of company policies, rules and regulations in compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.

  • To Ensure the factory is always complying with structural, social, ethical, health and electrical and fire safety requirements of Buyers, third parties as well as concerned bodies related to the business of the company and maintaining good communications.

  • To find out the non-compliance issues by the daily monitoring & internal audit in the factory and initiate the solve it according to Labor Law, Factory Rules and buyers CoC & other national & international legal instruments.

  • To Maintain every compliance mechanism/tools internally; through daily, weekly, monthly and yearly comparative statistical report & tools.

  • Review and update all legal documents/certificate/license time to time by communicating with the specific authorities.

  • To perform any other task as assigned by the management from time to time.
