Responsibilities & Context:
Supervise, operate, and maintain all electrical infrastructure, including substations, transformers, generators, ATS/AMF panels, and heavy-duty power equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Plan, design, and execute efficient electrical power distribution and load management systems across all hospital facilities to maintain continuous, stable, and safe power supply.
Conduct routine inspections and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimum performance of all electrical installations and machinery.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults promptly to restore functionality and prevent recurrence.
Ensure full compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and hospital operational policies to maintain a secure and hazard-free environment.
Liaise and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal departments for electrical system installation, repair, commissioning, and upgradation works.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical reports, maintenance logs, power consumption records, and system performance data.
Evaluate and implement energy conservation initiatives and system optimization strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Provide expert technical support during electrical emergencies, power outages, and critical operational scenarios to ensure minimal disruption of hospital services.
Lead and guide the technical support team in adhering to best engineering practices and standard operating procedures.
