Job Description/Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic planning and execution of all warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring efficient operations across multiple depots while maintaining cost control within the approved budget.

  • Supervise and manage warehouse and distribution teams, fostering a high-performance culture through training, coaching, and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP).

  • Plan and coordinate distribution schedules, optimize delivery routes, and ensure timely and accurate dispatch of pharmaceutical products.

  • Utilize and manage systems such as Warehouse Management System (WMS), Transportation Management System (TMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

  • Oversee daily transportation activities with proper maintaining timely, continuously improving route planning to enhance delivery performance and reduce operational delays.

  • Monitor stock levels across all depots to maintain optimal inventory and ensure uninterrupted product availability.

  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to negotiate contracts, and proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.

  • Monitor institutional/party sales and credit status, ensure timely collection of receivables, and deposit funds into company accounts in accordance with financial policies.

  • Oversee inventory management processes including receiving, storage, stock rotation, and handling of pharmaceutical products in line with regulatory standards.

  • Ensure proper management of damaged goods and minimize product expiry by maintaining strict batch-wise FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) practices.

  • Perform any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management from time to time.
