Job Context:
∎ Implementation of WASH Services for the Rohingya Refugees Living in Camp in Cox’s Bazar District.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure effective implementation of the WASH services following the work plan through necessary guidance by the supervisor.
∎ Regular monitoring and supervision of different WASH infrastructure like latrine, Bathing, STW, DTW, FSM & solid waste management Plant facilities etc. upgradation and rehabilitation work.
∎ Regular monitoring and supervision of the solid and faecal waste management activity includes waste collection, transportation and final dumping and treatment.
∎ Assist to perform project management functions, prepare project cost estimates, specifications, and coordinate activities with other external agencies in the target area.
∎ Assist the WASH Engineer in overall planning, budgeting, implementation, and monitoring of the project.
∎ Responsible for feasibility survey, design, prepare the estimation of quantities WASH interventions as well as collaborative work with logistic/ procurement.
∎ Ensure relevant logistic for repair and verify proper uses of any logistic with the help of Community Mobilizer.
∎ Ensure the quality of logistic and Support to the logistic cum Storekeeper.
∎ Ensure daily report, monthly report of his/her responsible area in developed format.
∎ Assist WASH Engineer in preparing the drawing, design and BoQ of the facilities.
∎ Assist, guide and monitor the volunteers for the smooth functioning of the project.
∎ Assist to conduct regular monitoring, technical supervision, regular operation & maintenance where needed and provide technical inputs.
∎ Perform any other related duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the project team.
∎ Any other related tasks assigned by Project Coordinator have to accomplished.
∎ Perform other relevant duties as required for the project as well as the organization.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in WASH Humanitarian Response.
∎ Medium in English (written/verbal)
∎ Team management, organizational capacity, and activity planning - Ability to analyses and synthesize - Ability to work under limited supervision - Dynamism - Good report writing ability - Computer skills
Salary: Tk. 42000 (Monthly)
