Responsibilities & Context:
∎ S/he is responsible to ensure the implementation of IMCN project activities by proper coordination with frontline worker and nutritionist. Liaise with MoHFW staffs and local stakeholders and community leaders. Provide supportive supervision to the community nutrition volunteer for smoothly run TSFP and outreach activities.
∎ Assist in implementation of CMAM guideline and protocol as per national guideline of NNS.
∎ Ensure the services of IMCN project at community level following the recommended guideline.
∎ Ensure the monitoring of routine outreach activities.
∎ Ensure the defined numbers of SBCCC activities at facilities and community level.
∎ Actively participate and facilitate community sensitization and mobilization activities.
∎ Support UNS in collaboration with facility staff to ensure all necessary supplies (food and non-food) are requested on time.
∎ Ensure the supply items especially all reporting items like screening, refer slip, MUAC tape. Visit format, IEC material, BNF card, register.
∎ Team building and establish positive motivation among volunteers.
∎ Report collection and compilation from volunteers.
∎ Provide supportive supervision and monitor CC staff’s attendance and leave issue.
∎ Provide assistance during project implementation at community level.
∎ Provide supportive supervision to the CNV’s for community screening, identification, refer, admission, discharge is maintained as per guideline.
∎ Closely work with CNV’s to ensure proper referral mechanism of MAM, SAM children and malnourished PLW to respective centers (CC/UHFWC/UHSC) from the community.
∎ Responsible for cross checking of all the information about the number and the description of acutely malnourished children referred to the respective nutrition centers (CC/UHFWC/UHSC) to make sure of their arrival and admission the appropriate nutrition center.
∎ Provide supportive supervision to CNV’s to ensure follow up and home visit for the absent, default CNR, death wt. loss, static weight, MUAC loss & static issues for the malnourished cases to detect the actual reasons.
∎ Routinely monitor CNV’s to ensure GMP activities at household level and a GMP follow up visit and relevant activities by cluster visit.
∎ Ensure SBCC related all program activity (IYCF message & counseling, court yard session, IFA messaging, Cluster based complementary cooking demonstration, Health education session, Mother to mother session) to the target groups at field & facility level.
∎ Ensure necessary arrangement at CC and field for smooth outreach activity.
