Job Context

M A Rashid Memorial Academy, a National Curriculum- institution of United Trust (United Group) is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and child-friendly Drawing Teacher to develop students' artistic skills and creativity. The teacher will conduct engaging art classes, organize art-related activities, and contribute to the holistic development of students from Nursery to Class Five.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct drawing and art classes for students from Nursery to Class Five.

• Teach basic and advanced drawing techniques appropriate to students’ age and ability.

• Encourage creativity, imagination, and self-expression through various art activities.

• Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials for drawing classes.

• Organize art exhibitions, competitions, and display students’ artwork.

• Guide students in using different art materials such as pencils, crayons, watercolors, poster colors, and craft supplies.

• Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe learning environment.

• Assist in school events, celebrations, cultural programs, and co-curricular activities.

• Collaborate with class teachers and school administration for students’ overall development.

• Maintain records of students’ work and achievements.

• Perform any other academic duties assigned by the school authority.
