Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Social Science (MSS)
∎ Master's Degree in Social Science preferably in Economics/Agricultural Economics/ Development Economics/Health Economics/Statistics with good academic results;
∎ Skills Required: Proficient in English and Statistical Software like STATA, SAS, SPSS;

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Research Organization

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the direct supervision of the Director (Research)/Programme Officer (Research), the incumbent is expected to perform the following responsibilities:
∎ Manage day-to-day research activities including planning of research, implementation of surveys, monitoring and supervision of field activities, collection of data from secondary sources, writing of reports, training of field workers;
∎ Organize training, field visits, and capacity building training for the department;
∎ Compile rural development statistics for CIRDAP Member Countries;
∎ Document all activities related to project and research;
∎ Maintain and update the database of the Research Division;
∎ Prepare logistics as required for approved Action Research Programs;
∎ Maintain an effective communication network with different stakeholders;
∎ Coordinate research activities with other members of Research Division
∎ Perform any other duties as required and assigned by the Director or Programme Officer.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ • Transparent and fair in person and profession;
∎ • Good personal attitude such as honesty, punctuality;
