Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in development studies or other relevant discipline, and prior experience working for an international organization on day-to-day implementation of democracy and governance projects, preferably focused on labor rights.

∎ Bachelor's degree in development studies or other relevant discipline, and at least 3 years of experience working for an international organization on day-to-day implementation of democracy and governance projects, preferably focused on labor rights.

Job Context:
∎ Job Location: The Asia Foundation`s main office in Dhaka (with frequent travel)
∎ Reports to: Program Director

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide support to identify and schedule meetings and coordinate with local CSOs, think tanks, universities, and researchers.
∎ Conduct outreach with a variety of stakeholders
∎ Support implementation of project activities, identification of partners/research organizations, management of project activities and deadlines, and development and articulation of discrete findings
∎ Assist in drafting research protocols, questions, and surveys.
∎ Monitor research/study procedures to ensure they are in line with the study protocol and the research objectives.
∎ Monitor timely production and submission of relevant activities and other reports by consultants or research organizations.
∎ Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders in both Hazaribag and Savar. Also maintain regular communication with project partners and Tannery Workers Union.

∎ Ability to travel and undertake fieldwork in rural contexts.
∎ Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, email, and the internet.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangla.
