Job Context:
∎ GAC (Skill Development Project)
∎ The purpose of the position is to ensure all procurement of goods and services for the GAC project activities under the direct supervision of Senior Officer – Logistics & Procurement.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until December 31, 2022.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and control Logistics and Procurement activities of the GAC project under the supervision of Senior Officer Logistics & procurement.
∎ Implement day-to-day Procurement and logistic support which accountable to organizational and donor procurement policies, procedure and requirement.
∎ Ensure regular supply of program requirements for smooth operation of project by ensuring lead time.
∎ Prepare RFQ for approved received PR with understanding PR product specification and circulate RFQ to enlisted potential supplier following threshold level.
∎ Collaborate with Storekeepers/Admin Associate to ensure delivery of purchased materials as per work order.
∎ Prepare CS, bill summary and other supporting documents to ensure bill submission to finance on time.
∎ Collect quotation, bill, challan, voucher and MRR from respective timely.
∎ Store all files for future donor’s audit trial requirements.
∎ Sourcing new potential suppliers, update vendor documents time to time and keep updated vendor list timely.
∎ Know how to manage conflict and stress in work.
∎ Maintaining a good liaison with LGI, beneficiary and host community, donors, different stakeholders and others.
∎ Provide additional support to project activities time to time.
∎ Submit report weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis.
∎ Perform other duties relevant to the project as required.
∎ Ensure compliance, VAT and TAX as per government rules and regulations in all procurement process.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 23 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Previous experience in Logistics & Procurement or Supply chain
∎ Basic knowledge on Logistics & Procurement principles, rules and regulations
∎ Professional work experience in logistics, Procurement & other supply chain management activities.
∎ Proficient knowledge of standard computer software (MS Word, Excel, MS office)
∎ Good communication and networking skills both in Bangla & English
Salary: Tk. 70000 (Monthly)
