Experience:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in packaging development, preferably in the plastic industry/FMCG, food, or confectionery manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Skills & Area of Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of flexible and rigid packaging materials, including BOPP, PET, PE, laminates, paperboard, and packaging structures.

• Candidates familiar with Solid Works or other CAD software will be given preference.

Job Location: Matador Head Office, Azimpur, Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and improvement of packaging materials, structures, and designs for new and existing products.

• Ensure timely development, testing, and commercialization of packaging solutions aligned with product and market requirements.

• Coordinate with R&D, Production, Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Marketing to ensure packaging suitability, product compatibility, and production feasibility.

• Evaluate packaging materials and suppliers based on quality, cost, performance, food safety, and sustainability requirements.

• Manage packaging development projects, cost optimization initiatives, specifications, artwork approvals, and documentation from concept to commercialization, including production-line performance evaluations.
