Additional Requirements:
  • Age 32 to 45 years
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in hospital operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role in the OPD or Front Office of a reputed hospital.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Experience using Hospital Information Systems (HIS/HMIS) will be an added advantage.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong customer service orientation with a patient-centric approach.



Responsibilities & Context:
  1. Supervise the day-to-day operations of the OPD to ensure efficient patient service.

  2. Coordinate OPD activities with consultants, OPD staff, reception, admission, billing, and other support departments.

  3. Monitor patient flow and minimize waiting time while ensuring high-quality customer service.

  4. Ensure consultants' chamber schedules are properly maintained and communicated.

  5. Handle patient complaints and service recovery professionally.

  6. Monitor staff attendance, duty rosters, discipline, and performance.

  7. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, SOPs, quality standards, and patient safety protocols.

  8. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and performance analyses.

  9. Coordinate departmental meetings and implement process improvement initiatives.

  10. Train, coach, and evaluate OPD staff to enhance service quality.

  11. Monitor Patients file and inspire & motivate them to follow the Prescription’s advice.

  12. Ensure Medicine instruction and guide the patients to purchase all medicine from Central Hospital Pharmacy.

  13. Ensure all investigations, tests those are mentioned on the prescription must be completed from Central Hospital.

  14. Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
