Experience:

• Age At least 18 years

• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.

• Must be responsible, alert and capable of handling emergency situations.

• Good understanding of oxygen safety and medical gas handling procedures.

1. Operate and monitor the hospital’s Medical Gas System, including Oxygen (O₂), Medical Air and Vacuum System.

2. Collect and manage oxygen cylinders from approved suppliers as required.

3. Connect oxygen cylinders to the manifold system through appropriate connection/fail-safe arrangements.

4. Monitor and maintain proper oxygen pressure in the pipeline and manifold system.

5. Ensure uninterrupted oxygen supply to all designated hospital areas.

6. Check for gas leakage, pressure fluctuation, regulator problems and flow-meter faults.

7. Take immediate action in case of any oxygen supply emergency or technical issue.

8. Maintain daily records of oxygen cylinder receipt, consumption, pressure and related activities.

9. Coordinate with the Maintenance/Engineering team for technical problems and preventive maintenance.

10. Perform any other duties assigned by the management/supervisor.
