Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Coordinate the monthly shipment schedule with the head of production, overseeing the process to ensure 100% shipment on time accordance with the plan.
∎ Provide clear directives to the team to align their work with buyer specifications and requirements while upholding the highest quality standards.
∎ Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of his team, which may include worker handling processes such as steaming, pressing, folding and packaging.
∎ Monitor packing material availability based on the plan sheet. In case of any delays, discrepancies or substandard quality, immediately notify the head of production and take prompt action to resolve the issue.
∎ Supervise the daily attendance of subordinate officers and staff, assigning them daily production targets in alignment with overall goals.
∎ Ensure that finished garments meet the required quality standards, including checking for defects such as stitching errors, incorrect sizing, color inconsistencies or fabric flaws before dispatch to customers.
∎ Monitor operational costs such as labor, materials and overheads. Implement strategies to control costs while maintaining product quality.
∎ Maintain accurate records of production output, quality checks, and any issues that arise during the finishing process.
∎ Take full responsibility for escalating significant issues or challenges to relevant teams, ensuring swift resolution and clear communication across production lines or floors.
∎ Organize training sessions aimed at enhancing skill development and fostering continuous improvement among subordinates.
∎ Work closely with other departments to coordinate production flow and avoid delays.
∎ Identify opportunities for improving the efficiency of the finishing process and suggest process improvements.
∎ Inspected goods hand over the store responsible person.
∎ Ensure adherence to technical and social compliance standards, including proper housekeeping & use of PPE with health and safety regulations.
